Grand Canyon
On the way to the Grand Canyon we stayed a night in Kanab at my former colleague’s house. Visited the esteemed Buckskin Tavern for dinner and in the morning checked out the warehouse of the company I did a Colorado River rafting trip with a few years ago. At the Grand Canyon we had our best campsite of the trip - lots of space away from the other sites and with elk grazing nearby. Cal and Theo did a big hike down into the Canyon, while I mostly walked around the rim. We all enjoyed some down time reading, hammocking, guitaring, and backgammoning.
