NorCal + Trip End
A big driving day landed us at Lake Shasta. We rented a boat and went fishing for spotted bass. Theo caught one on a hand line, as well as a huge tree branch. We then headed to Yosemite and lucked out with a last minute campsite on the valley floor. We did some hiking and rock appreciating under misty skies. We touched back down in Oakland with 187,299 miles on the speedometer, for a total of 5,279 miles on the trip (my guess before starting the trip was 5,057 miles..not bad!). We enjoyed beers with friends back in the Bay Area and went to a Giants game. Weird to be back home!
